As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a small team of developers and designing, developing, and running cyber security monitoring systems. This will involve cloud technologies, REST API integration, site reliability engineering, and data analytics. Your role will focus on the development of a platform that will collect risk data, provide analysis and reporting, and enable remediation. This is a significant initiative, providing you with the opportunity to make a huge impact.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and capabilities:

  • strong programming and problem-solving skills with full-stack web development. Golang, Python, or Java experience for backend and ReactJS for front end.
  • experience in coding with either SQL or NoSQL database/cache.
  • experience working in cloud computing environments (AWS preferred).
  • knowledge and experience with API design and development.
  • experience in Agile development processes and a DevOps culture.
  • experience with continuous integration and relevant tools, using the Atlassian product suite which include Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira etc.
  • experience with system monitoring and logging tools (e.g. AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch) desirable.
  • experience managing and training a small team of developer
  • a strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and the ability to self-manage.
  • strong troubleshooting skills and a creative problem-solving ability.
